I love how this season continously protrays kids the way they are and enjoying the best of their time. The kids fooling around this episode gave me a sense of nostalgia, the Summer type of nostalgia. |

| Natsumi and Hika nee in the past where as funny as they are now. Their fight was also a bit funny but the helped each other out in the end. Still the part with the bonsai tree didn't went according to plan. |

| Wholesome and a fun friendship, both at the moment and in the past. They fight a lot but they actually cared of each other deeply.   Great eps, showed how in sync they both are, and display us a nice flashback. |

| Maybe it's been too long since I last watched a full episode of NNB, but this season seems to be focusing on these smaller character groupings. I'm really enjoying it a lot. Oh, and we have yet to see Candy Store, right? wtf |

| The bonsai part is very funny especially when Hika-nee and Natsumi try to hide the breaking planter and Natsumi's mother stands at their back and saw everything, such bad timing for them. The backstory between Hika-nee and Natsumi is really impressive. |

| Hikage and Natsumi's backstory was heart warming. It's great to see how they became friends. The scene where Hikage ran with a basket on his head was hilarious. Great episode. |

| This episode was far better compared to the first two both in animation (those backgrounds and lights !!) and story-wise. At last, watching it felt such fun as the episodes of the previous seasons. |

| Truly difficult to hide something you broke. Was in a similar situation. Anyways, their relationship is so goofy! But wholesome at the same time. Glad they focused on both of them - I think the previous seasons lacked on that, so great to see more focus there. Next episode will have kaede in it... oh yeah I've been waiting. Renge and kaede wholesome moments next ep?! |

| there's not a whole lot to say other than this episode focuses on Hikage and Natsumi's bond which is refreshing and again, the episode ended before ya know it, they've been playing alot, dealing troubling times, and hey like the rest said is that they cared for each other deeply. also, poor natsumi and, ;w; |
| An episode centered around Natsumi and Hikage, that was so sweet, especially the flashback to when they still went to the same school together. Their chemistry is so good, like any besties they fight or argue once in a while but they are always there for each other, just like Hikage was when Natsumi fell and got lost. Such a great friendship. The preview broadcast on the tv is nothing new for Non Non Biyori, but I am absolutely in love with this Diorama version. I would love to sit in that room! |

| An episode about the “side characters” of Non Non, Natsumi and Hikage, and the episode still manages to be a 10/10. The surefire kill finisher broke a bonsai tree and then when they were hiding the evidence from Natsumi’s siblings they got caught LOL. Then we get a flashback of the two while they are children (very cute btw) where we see them fight with each other (LOL popsicle) and then make up. This, along with the make-up at the end of the episode, were very cute and heartwarming. |

| Really, I felt this episode quite calm and saw a bit of Natsumi and Rika's friendship. It was quite funny the part about wearing a basket over the head. |

| Poor Hikage. Kicks to the shin while "fighting" should be forbidden. Truly heartwarming episode. Little Natsumi was so cute and the bond she and Hikage share despite the slight age difference was portrayed in such a sweet way I couldn't stop smiling at their interactions. The flashback was very lovely as well. |
| Natsumi and Hikage's friendship is so sweet and wholesome. Their chemistry in having fun is great, but it was also funny when it came to the girls trying to hide the evidence of breaking the bansai tree pot. XD To showcase how close their friendship is, we got a small flashback when the two girls were younger (and even more adorable). They might have a clash of personalities at times, but you can tell how much they care for each other, as was shown when Hikage went out of her way to find Natsumi near the secret base when she didn't return home due to injuring herself near the base. This was another fine episode overall. I always like it when Natsumi gets her time in the spotlight and when it happens, it always leaves me really happy and refreshed. It was the same during the vacation movie, too. ^_^ |
| Natsumi is my favorite character in this anime so it was fun to see her and Hika-nee get a whole episode to themselves. Seeing what they were like when they were younger was also pretty cute. |

| The subject changes, but a Renge appearance never fails, I like this constant in the narrative. In the first part, the narrative gimmick to introduce the topic focused on the friendship between Hikage and Natsumi works well. Perhaps the episode also wants to tell us that we were all children and that quarreling is an almost fundamental part of a very deep interpersonal bond like friendship. The narration is very quick, which also makes use of landscape views and the OST to succeed well in its intent to make us understand the topics just mentioned. Mostly very melancholy episode, difficult not to empathize with the characters. I want more of this show! |

| Yet another wholesome and charming episode, non non biyori never disappoint me.. Hikage is so underrated, she is probably my most favorite among all the side characters because she sometimes feels relatable, wish she gets more screen time.. |
