| Well, that makes it kind of clear that these people indeed brought it upon themselves. I mean who in their right mind would’ve given freedom to a mad sorcerer to do things to his liking, even when he wasn’t actually the “mad sorcerer”. Feeling for these people though, I mean he’s been haunting their last four generations lol. By the way, it’s been over 20 episodes, but the thing which surprised me the most was Senshi’s reaction to Griffin lol. I mean there does EXIST something which even he gets scared from. Honestly, kind of too late for our characters to think they actually do NOT know much about Senshi to begin with lol. Like guys, what y’all have been doing since the last twenty odd episodes lmao. Laios meme worthy reaction to Marcille’s familiar aside, at the very least the familiar actually did help them and ended up saving Senshi. Though yeah, like it has been referenced throughout this episode we finally did get to know about Senshi and his backstory.. or will do the next episode. Again it’s a bit late but it’s been setting up things for a continuation later down the line, so fine. Also, who would’ve thought Chilchuck has a wife and a kid too lol. |

| So that's the story of Thistle, an elf magician who not only has powerful skills but an intimidating presence. Very exciting to see Marcille and Laios working together and imo, their chemistry was great. I love how they added in meme-like and cartoony moments between certain scenes. Well played. |

| Poor Senshi. We finally found his weak spot. Marcille was amazing this episode. She was incredibly excited at the mere possibility of Falin, eagerly anticipating the chance to save her girlfriend. But when it turned out not to be her, she got furious and resorted to evil blood magic because of the bird's deception. It's interesting how Griffin's appearances often coincide with bad events; maybe Senshi, possibly a survivor of the band, now suffers from PTSD. Izutsumi's surprisingly human reaction was also unexpectedly adorable. It's nice that we're finally getting answers about Senshi amidst all these revelations. Yet, amid all this, the fact that Chilchuck is a dad is the most surprising. How does he have a daughter when he just learned about the birds and the bees a few episodes ago? Marcille's reaction to Chilchuck's daughter is priceless. What exactly did Senshi see in that dungeon? |

Also, I was fully prepared for Laios to respond to the question of "What form would be effective against a griffin?" by going full dog mode, but speedsculpting a meat wyvern is pretty sick answer too. |

Also the disapppointment Laios felt looking at those lol. Finally time to know more about our group. Chilchuck is married with kids, Marcille's reaction was hilarious. Also about time we got Senshi backstory. |

| Had they stayed in the village for a few more minutes, they could have met the mad sorcerer again. However, since it seemed like he was hiding and being cautious of the would-be "thieves", maybe that wouldn't have worked after all. Woah...without hesitation, Marcille cut off a large lock of her hair that likely took at least a whole year or two to grow for her spell. And her familiars look so goofy, with Laios making quite the intense and confused-looking face. So those little red birdies are like flying a drone with a VR headset. The new familiar that Laios helped shape looked really nice...even cuter than the mini blood wyverns familiars of the mad sorcerer. Although he got carried away there with the one that would eventually be molded into the skyfish. Yeah, Chilchuck, why didn't ya take a bottle of booze along? Or a wineskin. It was clear that the village had a surplus that mostly went to waste. After he finally revealed his backstory about having a wife and daughters, Marcille was the one most shocked at the revelation. I bet she'll be even more shocked to find out all his daughters are Seeing young Senshi without his beard was really weird to see. I didn't expect Senshi's crew to technically be the first ones to discover the Golden Castle dungeon. It's like learning how the Vikings were the first Europeans to sail and find North America. What a cliffhanger...but a nice one, that doesn't aggravate you. I'm curious now...what were the wings of Marcille's skyfish familiar made of? Since they were crispy after being fried, I'm guessing the skin from that chunk of meat, like pork rinds. Since it took a week's worth of food to turn into 3 familiars (two of which were destroyed) so they could only eat one, it really does seem inefficient, especially when you consider the cost of using that much hair as a catalyst. The ROI just isn't worth it. |

| The noises Marcille makes when Chilchuck reveals that he has a wife and kids is priceless in every language. I highly recommend you guys to check that part out for a good laugh. 😂 |

| The backstory for Thistle seems something amiss. Supposedly the grandfather who was the king Degel had to escape but when Laios was in the painting before Thistle was accusing Laios of trying to steal the throne. So Thistle did not seem to have anything against Degel unless something came after the coronation of Degel. Okay how does Chillchuck have a kid when he acted so shocked when Senshi tried to explain sex to him lol |

| The usual chaos in crisis happened, Every time when Marcille does dark magic we get tons of fun. (Mind you the drama with Falin didn't happened because of the used magical method, but because of the dragon meat they used as emergency measure and couldn't even imagine that the mad magician could1 take control.) | The Sky Fish was the MVP of this episode, not only for being able to deal heavy damage to the griffin, but also providing the team a delicious meal after Laios on his hands on it. Not only was the action segments beautifully animated, but the comedic moments were hitting every mark without fail. Marcille and Laios bouncing each other was one thing, but seeing Marcille's expression derp out after hearing that Chikchuk had a wife and kids had me bursting out laughing! XD While I loved the humour, the serious parts of the story was important to take note. Thistle making his move is a worry, but for now, we're going to find out more about Senshi's past. I wonder if this backstory will explain why he fears griffins so much, but either way, I look forward to knowing more about his past. |
| Lunatic Magician’s name was dropped finally, at least I think this is the first time we’ve heard it lol, Thistle is such a cute name for such a dastardly fella, but it also fits very well, but now I’m fearing for the immortal friends the party just made because Thistle showed himself right after they left, he didn’t look too happy lol. But after this, most of the episode was dedicated to taking on a griffin after Senshi got nabbed by it due to his panic, it was quite the interesting and intense fight with Marcille having to make use of familiars that they were able to morph into whatever shape they wanted, they ended up being pretty cool but Laios’ initial reaction to the familiars was hilarious lol. And after quite the struggle and Marcille doing the worm, they were thankfully able to rescue Senshi and caught themselves a new monster which I imagine they’ll eat at some point unless this is the one monster they don’t due to Senshi’s PTSD, but what they did eat was one of the familiars which somehow managed to look delicious, I’m a big fan of fried fish myself. But at the end of the episode is when we got some especially juicy stuff, starting off with the reveal that Chilchuck has a wife and kids he hasn’t seen in years lol, but this lead to Senshi finally telling his tale of where he came from, and based on how he reacted to the griffin, I can probably guess what happened to his mining crew. Also man, just two episodes left, I’m not ready for it to end lol. |

@traed im guessing thistle became so overbearing and crazy that delgal resorted to running away, so that could have pissed off the magician yeah. i mean delgal did say whoever defeated the lunatic magician would inherit delgals stuff

| I never imagined Senshi would have a deep backstory, and now I just can’t wait to get to it! This episode was great too as it added to the world building with the familiars Marcille was able to create. (9/10) |
