| I really like the new Op and ED. But I still like the previous ones better. The episode had so many beautiful bonding moments between Thorfinn, Einar, Snake and Arnheid. But as is usually the case, nothing good follows after such moments. |

| Ah man shit's already about to go down with the Canute thing but now we got the old man dying and Arnheid's husband of all things showing up. I thought he'd be her brother or something but this makes it more awkward for sure. And dude's like on a rampage sooooo yeah I hope it doesn't get too violent next episode. Snake's men deserved that shit tho lmao. |

| The dinner scene with Thorfinn, Einar, Snake, Arnheld and gramps was wholesome. Moments like these make me appreciate the characters. The runaway slave was one badass mfer. Him burning his old master's house and killing him in the end felt satisfying. I can witness the slave's anger and wrath. It was hella scary. That cliffhanger at the end with the runaway slave being Arnheld's husband caught me off guard. Poor Einar lol. |

| Great episode.New OP is pretty good. Seems like a slave revolted.Arnheid taking care of Sverkel.The cliffhanger though.Can't wait to see next episode. |

| Damned episode this was, this arc so far has been a good watch prolly cause i alr read this arc in the manga xd alas Thorfinn wanting to be a Christian while Canute being the opposite are a sight to see and again with this evil cliffhanger >:O Also the new opening is still pretty good i still prefer the River one rn but hey this might grow on me in later episodes. |

| To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure at first whether we had gone back in time or not. On closer inspection, however, I quickly realized that it had to be a slave from another farm. This is what happens when you treat other people, slaves or not, without any respect. Back at Ketil's Farm, Thorfinn and Einar revived the topic of what they would do with their freedom. In Einar's case, it looks like he's staying to have a chance of eventually freeing Arnheid as well. It seems age is catching up with Sverkel. Luckily, Snake had the inspiration to look for him, otherwise things could have turned out a lot worse. With the bedridden master, not only Thorfinn and Einar take care of his well-being, but also Arnheid. I can't deny that the food scene was pretty funny. Sverkel is still trying to be tough, but a hungry stomach speaks for itself. Upon Fuchs' arrival at Sverkel's house, he reports to Snake about the incident at Kjallakr's farm. I immediately wondered how far away Kjallkakr's Farm might be. Snake's decision to team up in threes to look for the escaped slave was definitely the best alternative. Especially since you don't know how strong and dangerous this man really is. The stupidity of Badger and Lizard was unbearable. Imagine finding the suspect you're looking for sleeping, or at least dozing, and starting a heated debate about whether or not to attack. Even a deaf person would have noticed this and so the inevitable happened, the death of Lizard. With an injured fox and Badger in hot pursuit, the mysterious slave passed Sverkel's house only to be recognized by Arnheid in a split second. His name appears to be Gardar, and if that really is Arnheid's husband, holy shit will that makes things a lot more complicated than they already were. The new OP and ED are both great. I might prefer the ones before, but at the moment I'm not totally sure. |

| 3/5 Pretty monotone chapter with meaningful interactions and generally good vibes apart from the start & the end A new character, who we found out later, was Arnheid's husband just randomly shows up in the cold open. Thorfinn & Einar were contemplating their freedom but it was cut short due to Sverkel and his senile attributes. The man is nearing his death bed but it's quite endearing to see someone like that still doing about his job like a normal person. A very wholesome moment between all of the parties involved there which also includes Arnheid, who had some of the most glowing facial animation in the entire episode. That woman is BEAUTIFUL. No wonder Einar wants in whilst Gardar already bagged her The sound designs and key visuals were brilliant in many points. Artistic choices like match-cuts & dolly pans are always a treat , especially for a cinematography geek like myself. Thorfinn trying to be a Christian, perhaps? Does he really need Jesus though? Time will tell. The episode ends with the Gardar reveal Idk how his character will co-erce into the rest of this season but it's certainly an impactful first impression. No Canute this time around but let the man cook!!! |

| The new opening by 'Survive Said The Prophet' slaps. At first glance, I thought the runaway slave was timeskip Einar. As the episode progressed I realised bro was a completely new character. I kinda predicted that dude to be Arnheid's husband/lover from the OP. Gardar killed Lizard. I wonder if Snake will spare him. Also, from the looks of it, Arnheid presumed him to be dead but he's alive. How does he react once he realises that she has become Ketil's personal sex slave? New ED is extremely good. |

| Sverkel is still going strong for a man worked his entire life especially in his older age. Loved seeing Arnheid having a moment of actual fun there. Gardar will be an interesting character. |

| I love the first OP so much that I can't say the same for the new one. Sorry. I'm not sure if Gardar is still in his right mind. He looks pretty mad to me. I wouldn't mind if Arnheid and him will get back together, perhaps elope? That would be a huge blow for Einar though. |
 She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did! |
