Aside from Moment, I didn't know the other lens brands very well. I liked how neat the Neewer products are. Now, have you tried Freewell? I read a lot of good things about them and got the snow mist filter and their macro for a test run. How do you think the brand fare against others? Also, due to my setup being on the heavier side, I went with the Moza Mini-P max but, by the end of the year, I'll have upgraded to the Moza Aircross S.

Image I want the S26 Ultra at some point (if it ever comes out). Do all these goodies suddenly become useless or is it just the cage that becomes useless (and with that everything else that is compatible with it)? I'm simply not sure whether to upgrade my phone and buy all the accessories I want/need, because if it's going to lead me to being unable to upgrade my phone again after that without spending a lot of money on re-buying all the accessories again, then it makes me question the actual idea of using a phone in the first place. Upgrading a phone is expensive enough, let stand having to buy the complete accessories set all over again for that specific phone version.😵 Any advice? 😅

Are there telephoto lenses of higher magnification than the one (low power) you showed in this video? Would love to turn my S24 Ultra into a camera I can use for wildlife/birds. Thanks!
So LUTs impact color and exposure whereas lenses impact focal length and scene compression. So realistically the two aren't really connected so you're free to use or not use them with any lens!
Hey I got the neewer cage, anamorphic, and the adjustable ND CPL lense. I caught a big sale last weekend. I saw that there was a similar adjustable lense but it was called a true color lense. Can you do a comparison video of the true color lenses and the regular ones? Also, can you advise if the mt2 is a better buy than the m6 for the neewer cage? Thanks for being great❤

Unless your doing long exposure or videos, the nd filters just aren't needed. Day to day images can be great by manipulating the shutter and iso in pro mode. I tested with and without nd filters and the results were pretty much the same 🤷🏽♂️
What prospective Shiftcam buyers should be told is that their tech support is nearly nonexistant. In addition, their return policy is not customer-friendly, you're charged a 20% restocking fee unless the item is defective.
If you had to pick 1 filter and one lens that's a must have for the s24 what would you choose? These are expensive and I'm trying to get started without spending a kidney lol I bought the neewer cage. Rgb light and the quick release handle
i just got the neewer s24 cage today and while it is awesome and super sturdy, but it really doesn't fit in the hohem gimbal. i was barely able to open it to the max and force it in sliding it in from the bottom, there would be no way to just open it and have it clamp down on the case. i feel like the hohem clamp will be breaking very soon trying to make it fit with any sort of repeated use. do you have any tips on making it fit in there better? even 1cm more opening would make life so much better for the combo. i really want to keep the cage to use with my lenses, but not at the expense of breaking the phone clamp. im starting to think im going to have to remove it from the cage every time i want to use the m6 and get a janky lens clamp and go back and forth nonstop while filming
Is there some kind of adapter that can attach to the cage that the m6 can clamp on to? I just got the cage and now I have the same issue; its looking like I might have to carve away at the rubber gripping in the clamp to get it to fit. I wish he'd been more clear about this in the video.

Hey I have a big question. I want to buy an Anamorphic lens and but there's an option to buy one with a blue or yellow filter. Are they meant to be used in certain conditions like using the yellow in a sunny day? I'm not really sure since I haven't been able to find any answer from people covering the same topic.
I think they refer to the yellow/blue streak or flare that usually comes as options for those lenses. If so, they are simply choices for the color or "J. J. Abrams"-isn flares are when capturing light sources.

Lowkey, I have a like new Hohem MT2 Gimbal with the Ai camera for sale if anyone wants it. It’s not bad, I just decided to use my DJI RS2 for tracking instead.
I have ton of Freewell filters but for this phone it's pure waste of money. I have various 77mm filters so all I need is 67to77 filter adapter and I can use my "normal" filters with the Neewer cage. If it ever comes as they still don't send it over although the website saya there are stock. 😅 Edit: He actually explained that later the video so nevermind, haha

for information... no the case of a s23 ultra doesnt fit a s24 ultra. The s24 is more compact, and the 23 as more rounder edge and corner. Sadly samsung make phone so fast that third party accessories have a hard time to follow. i wish shiftcam had it

Don't know how he did it but when I attempted (several times) it felt as if the clamp is going to break apart! So, yeah... a bit of a waste of money...
Just to correct this misinformation. You can use the Dji Gimbal with the s24 ultra. You can do both of the features he listed. Not sure what issue he was having.

how about everybody here who knows what they're talking about list exactly what components you need from the cage to the grips to the magnetic accessories to the lens adapters in which lenses the macro wide angle and who makes the best glass not everybody who has the best cage or the best microphone bracket makes the best glass so this is where people are getting frustrated
Warning... the s24 ultra does NOT fit the newer case. It doesn't open wide enough without almost breaking and squeezing the case into the gimbal - we should have been told this in the review. Clearly you were paid.

Hmmm... how do i get my background blurry hahaaa.... dude are you real? ITS all about the F-stop u use. Samsung 200MP use the 1.7F use 1.7 F-stop and u have a blurry background a soft background u want go pick a higher F-stop till F5.6. the higher how clearer the image it will be, I bet u arent a real photographer iff u are you should mention it....
My friend… aperture is fixed on this phone so there’s no point in mentioning it. With how small their sensors are you can barely get any background blur despite the lower aperture. Distance from subject and background combined with focal length is one of the only things you can do to influence background blur. Go out and zoom your lens in you’ll see the background gets blurrier 😁 This is a very practical aspect of photo/video…

Can't find the side handle that has the Bluetooth shutter. The link you provided seems its just for the quick connect handle without the shutter.

How about audio recording? What external mic works best with the Samsung S23/S24 ultra phones? Is the Hollyland LARK M2 or DJI Mic Mini compatible?

Yes you can shoot in 120fps on the s24 ultra!

Yes just don’t use the DJI mimo app. Most of time when I film using a gimbal I use the native camera app.

Hmmm... how do i get my background blurry hahaaa.... dude are you real? ITS all about the F-stop u use. Samsung 200MP use the 1.7F use 1.7 F-stop and u have a blurry background a soft background u want go pick a higher F-stop till F5.6. the higher how clearer the image it will be, I bet u arent a real photographer iff u are you should mention it....
My friend… aperture is fixed on this phone so there’s no point in mentioning it. With how small their sensors are you can barely get any background blur despite the lower aperture. Distance from subject and background combined with focal length is one of the only things you can do to influence background blur. Go out and zoom your lens in you’ll see the background gets blurrier 😁 This is a very practical aspect of photo/video…
